Plasma is an ionized gas.

Treatment with the plasma handpiece produces microsparks on the skin. The plasma sparks create microchannels in the skin and cause superficial skin renewal. The skin is heated and contracts. Microplasma technology smoothes wrinkles, scars and stretch marks. The self-healing process in the tissue is stimulated and the formation of new collagen is stimulated.

The skin is disinfected before the treatment, after which a perfume-free sunscreen is applied.
The plasma treatment leads to slight redness and swelling of the skin.
Micro-scabs sometimes form.
