Wrinkle treatment - Botulinum toxin (Botox)
Botulinum toxin is used to safely and effectively treat lines and wrinkles caused by facial expression, such as frown lines, worry lines and laugh lines. It is injected into the exact muscles that cause the lines or wrinkles. The relaxing effect sets in after 2-3 days and reaches its maximum effect after about 14 to 21 days.
The inactivation of the muscles lasts for 3 to 6 months and the treatment can then be repeated. The injection is done with very fine needles. Redness and slight swelling around the injection are normal. Small bruises are possible. We cool the treated areas and you are welcome to apply a light make-up afterwards.
Appointment duration: 20 to 30 minutes, no sport for 24 hours
